We had 3 feet of snow by Jan. 2 good job I love the snow and winter in general...we get 7 months of winter and several weeks of summer ! If you like the snow, come on up and visit us.

- After 25 years in the city, we purchased a beautiful place right next to the mountains...it is indescribibly beautiful and peaceful and we love it. I love being a mountain woman..I chop wood, haul in logs for the fire and shovel snow in the winter..and love every minute of it. I hold a quilt group here once a month, belong to a knitting group once a week, and bookclub once a month. Life it so so different up here and when away from the craziness of the world, living in harmony with the land and the wild animals..you develop a great respect for nature, life and God. We are grandparents to 7 beautiful grandchildren and are expecting 2 more additions by Sept. 2009. They are all the apple of our eyes. I love fabric, books, knitting and my family they truly are amazing people and I feel blessed to have them in my life.
