The Beautiful Frushour family: Nathen, Jessica, Hayden and Callen.

Here is Callen, 10 months old.

Here is our not so little anymore Hayden on his first day of Pre K...why do they grow up so darn quickly? He is a cutie.

Here is a very small sampling of my fabric collection. It used to be called a 'stash' but it has long since outgrown that...I confess...I am a Fabric Collector, not, a fabriholic!! I collect beautiful fabrics like some people collect Art or books or stamps or whatever. I am a connoisseur...NOT a hoarder!!

Summer is winding down and already some trees and bushes are turning colour...but this is a shot from the top of our stream and it's still running like crazy and looking beautiful.

Okay, so I was thinking of painting one wall in my sewing room this kind of light teal colour,
and some fabric I had ordered on line arrived and I fell in love with it so I pinned it up on the wall, and, decided I wanted that fabric on the wall instead of painting it, so Mark built a frame for me and we stretched the fabric around it and stapled it in the back and I LOVE IT!

Rylee sure finds something funny...I'm quite sure WE will find something NOT funny somewhere later on! She is wearing a little skirt and top I made for her and I crocheted the bag for her to carry her 'stuff' in to church.

This is Nautica's 'Chucky Face' as her parents call it...it usually precedes an unpleasant situation wherein Nautica thinks someone has done her wrong...it is hysterical...she is such a quiet and demure little sweetheart usually...and oh so cute.

Something is going on here...these two are trouble when they get together..
I don't know if they are laughing about something they already did...or, sharing a secret about what they are going to do???

Dad and Cadia anticipating the Trifle.

Nautica taking serious notes on how to deal with people over the phone from her cousen Rylee.

Now here are two serious phone pals.

I think little miss sunshine is telling Bear just how it's gonna be while she's around...and the best is...he's listening.

Pippi Longstocking I presume

I have the CUTEST, MOST ADORABLE grandkids in the universe...I know, I am a bit biased.

I just love this picture of Brooke and fam hope you realize what a beautiful wife you have Clint..

This picture barely captures how indescribibly stunning this sunset was...God gives us stunning artwork everyday to look at and enjoy....are we looking?

And last but by no means least, we had miss fresh fish..who spent more time jumping in and out of this little pool than anything else. She also rode in a little raft down our stream!! Taiyah is a hoot...and loves 'a spot of tea' (ask her Mom)

We had a visit from a real live Princess...Addie..she loved this dress and loves dressing up ALL the time, she is such a REAL princess.

The goodlooking Leeds family on their vacation with us at Noisy Creek...that went by way too fast

Here they are, two of the prettiest little girls in the world...yes, I know, I am biased...I'm the grandma...what else do you expect. They are in little outfits grandma made for them and comparing notes or something

I don't know why but I just love this photo, I took it on a drive Mark and I took over Mothers Day weekend...it just appeals to something in me...

Here are some happy campers...the mom, the boy, and the dog with his stick!

Here is Callen cracking up at his big brother...he only has to set eyes on Hayden and he gets the biggest happiest smile on his face...those two are going to be trouble together I am sure.

Jess and Hayden zooming around the property...Hayden is yelling out to the dogs, (who go crazy when anyone rides the quad)

Here's Jessica in her cute Apron I whipped up for her, her choice of fabrics...pink, of course. This was a lot of fun.

Mark took this while we were up in Ferny, Canada, you just walked out the door of the cafe and there it was in all it's majesty.

Here is our Bear thinking he has a fish in our stream! Always the Hunter.

Last Sunday Mark and I went for a drive and popped into the Bear adventure...I was a bit wary at first knowing there were numurous Bears wandering around inside and you werejust inside your car. But, what a treat to see these beautiful animals up close...I really wouldn't want to encounter one out in the woods though..this is about the size if not a bit smaller, than the one we had on our property just a hundred yards if that from the house!! Glad I was inside.

Here is one of the skirts I made for Nautica..I love making these because they look so darn cute when put together.

Clint and 'The boys' Moose and Bear actually standing on the frozen river!! Which both dogs ended up breaking and falling into the icy water!

Papa and the Rylee on the quad in Montana...she loved riding this with her Grandpa.

I just know spring is coming here sometime...I just wish it would get a move on...this is last summer, we still have 'feet' of snow on the ground around us...we have a saying up here, we get 9 months of winter and 3 months of houseguests!! It's all good though, I'd rather be here than ANYWHERE else.
I just read the posts my daughters left on my blog....and I am so touched and blessed to have children that love me like they do...thank you .
Having my children has been one of the greatest joys and blessings of my life...you bring me such happiness and joy and delight...and then, on top of that, you give me extraordinary grandchildren. Can it get any better? I am so looking forward to Brooke, Clint and Rylee arriving here on Tuesday....yeah. Will take lots of pics to put up. If any of you want to come and take in the beauty of Montana....just give us a call...you are more than welcome.

We had 3 more inches of snow last night...I think we are in perpetual winter here...but honestly how could I not be inspired living up here??! I am in the process of learning cloth doll making...always a bit tricky learning something new, however, this is where my stubborness kicks in with the attitude of "this will not beat me, I CAN do this"

I am so grateful to be able to live in all this natural beauty and solitude and peace...such a far cry from the rest of the world...this morning I was sitting at my sewing desk and in front of my big window, watching the sun shimmer through the trees and making the snow sparkle like brilliant jewels and now and again wafts of snow would come tumbling down out of the branches....magical, wish you were all here to witness this piece of heaven.

Going around

Seems sometimes that there are obstacles on the path that seem to block us, we can climb over them, crawl under them, try and go around them, try barging through them, or, take another route...we human being don't really like change and think we don't enjoy problems in our life, but because we cannot see around the bend we don't realize that sometimes those obstacles are placed before us to help us realize our full strength and potential and yup, that word we don't care for much...GROW...it seems that in todays life, we all are coping with our own individual things and we cannot slump down and roll around in agony...we pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off...and continue onward and hopefully upward, I know when I am feeling a bit blue, going for a walk, or making someone feel better about themselves and praying to my HEAVENLY FATHER always makes me realize there really IS someone out there a whole lot worse off than me. I am so thankful for my family, I truly believe I have amazing adult children and even more gifted amazing grandchildren....THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU. Life really is beautiful and God is good and we still have so much more than so many.
Try writing down 14 things that you are grateful for....it will put a smile on your face.

These are the bags I showed my quilt group how to make last week..cute and fast.
So, today I had to go to Joannes for some funky fabric as I am going to attempt to make Softies animals and dress them up for my grandchildren...by the time I got out of there it probably would have been cheaper to buy them all a softie animal, oh well, then they couldn't say their grandma made it for me! I LOVE that I talk to my girls several times a week and they are like my best friends :) thanks girls...you make my life a very happy place.

The Jewel Basin....Grizzly Bear country and less than 2 minutes away from our driveway...I walk around with care.

This was June 10 2008!!!!!! Wild eh? We were on our way back from San Diego and hit this and my car hit black ice and we went into a horrible slide all over the road spun around several times and hit a post and stopped facing oncoming traffic! $3000. thousand dollars damage to my car....but thankfully we were not harmed.
